Connect ServiceM8 via Zapier

  1. 1. Generate your TapReview API key

    In TapReview, open Settings → Integrations & API and tap “Generate API key”. Copy it — it’s shown once.

  2. 2. Create a Zap with ServiceM8 as the trigger

    In Zapier, start a new Zap, choose ServiceM8, and pick the “Job Completed” trigger event. Connect your ServiceM8 account when prompted.

  3. 3. Add TapReview as the action

    Add an action step, choose TapReview → “Send Review Request”, and paste your API key to connect. (Until the app is approved, “Webhooks by Zapier” can POST to the TapReview API instead.)

  4. 4. Map the customer’s name & mobile

    Map ServiceM8’s customer first-name field to “Customer Name” and the mobile number to “Customer Mobile Number”.

  5. 5. Turn the Zap on

    That’s it. Every completed job now fires a WhatsApp review request automatically — no app-switching, no typing.

Does ServiceM8 pass over the customer’s phone number?

Yes. The “Job Completed” trigger exposes the job contact’s first name, last name, mobile and phone, so TapReview can message the right customer automatically.

What if I didn’t record a mobile number on the job?

TapReview validates UK mobiles and will skip a send if there’s no valid number — so it’s worth capturing the customer’s mobile on the job card in ServiceM8.

Do I need to be technical to set this up?

No. It’s a no-code Zapier connection — pick the trigger, pick TapReview, map two fields, switch it on.
